I guess we all know something of the cruel way that animals are treated by people, because we need them for food, clothing and so on. But that ‘because’ is perhaps a mistake. Maybe we need them for these things (I eat meat, use animal products, etc.,), but do they really have to be treated so badly? The video below is perhaps one of the most depressing, horrific videos ever made, but it is also based firmly in reality. Prepare to feel guilty… Oh - and I should probably warn you it includes lots of images of animals being maltreated (putting it mildly).
