The Tucana Forum Page

It works pretty much like newsgroups in Usenet except 1) you have to subscribe first as it is a members only operation. There is no obligation other than to be well behaved, and 2) it is a forum for discussion, so whenever any list member posts a message, it is, at your option, automatically e-mailed to you, or left in the forum for you to browse at your leisure. It is up to you if you want to reply or not, but that is how the discussion proceeds. At the moment, the list is a free-for-all, just like Usenet, but if I find that people are abusing the Forum to send adverts and generally spamming and trolling, I will unsubscribe them. Note that each message will have one advert added to the top of it: that's how it is paid for.

By subscribing you are also in effect joining my e-mailing list so I might e-mail you with the very occasional item of potential interest, such as when the Tucana site has been updated. You can subscribe by visiting the link below. You can look around, but to join, go to the Join link on that page. You will need an MSN Passport, which you can get easily by following the instructions. If you already have a hotmail address, then you already have a Passport anyway. You can unsubscribe using the options on the web site.

Once you are a member, you can press the button below to send a message to the other members of the Forum, or just go to the site and post it from there. Mail from non-members won't get through, though, so you do have to join first if you want to post messages. Anybody can read messages though.
